In 2012, in response to community feedback, Federation's priority turned to closing the gap in social services and we re-introduced Jewish Family Service (JFS) to our community. Following are resources, services, and available opportunities:

Federation is available to respond to inquiries related to nutrition, finances, senior services, and family issues. We can conduct home visits as appropriate, provide community resources, and partner with area rabbis to assess congregational and community needs.

KOSHER FOOD PANTRY

JFS continues to provide assistance for members of the Jewish community experiencing food insecurity. If you are able to go grocery shopping for yourself or your family, Save Mart or Trader Joe's gift cards will be mailed to you. We are also providing a new program called Shop for Seniors that pairs dedicated volunteers with homebound seniors in the community who are in need of grocery shopping. Both services are available on a weekly basis. Please contact Federation for more information.
