Every night, as parents put their children to bed, thousands of books are read to sleepy ears. What if the tales you tell your children could also enrich the Jewish values, identity, and celebrations in your family? If you are reading a PJ Library book, the stories are doing just that.

PJ (as in "pajamas") Library is a national Jewish literacy program funded by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and locally by The Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region. Children from 6 months through 8 years of age are eligible to receive free Jewish books delivered monthly to their home. Here in the Sacramento area, more than 1,500 children have participated in PJ Library! Enroll now!

PJ Library Sacramento is more than just books though. Throughout the year we gather for special programs where you and your kids can meet new friends, celebrate Jewish holidays and have fun! These events are open to all and are a great way to connect with other families. Our monthly e-newsletter and Facebook page keep you in the know about local Jewish happenings and broader issues for Jewish parenting.

Check out other events and programs in our community! And don't forget to visit the PJ Library blog!
